Last of the summer wine

5thOctober 2008

Short visit to Slieve Rushen , Co Cavan in well deserved October sunshine . We went up by Corneen and were rewarded with pheasant , snipe, curlew, peregrine and Moorland Hawker dragonfly. I hope the scambler motorbikes are not venturing onto the bogland.

In Cavan there are so many open spaces, particularly in the West of the County and I often enjoy the panoramic views from the top of Cuilcagh mountain.
Thanks for your insight in to Slieve Rushen. Sometime soon, I hope venture out to explore it as well.
