Red Tailed bumble bee
This is described by Biodiversity Ireland as widespread but not common.
This one was caught near killeshandra, but I would not see it that often. The children of Killygarry National School and Corliss N.S became very good at catching bumble bees and returned with Bombus lucorum and Bombus terrestris
A real beauty!
